Ellen says that one of the striking benefits about living in Northwest Florida is the diversity in nature. Her art primarily consists of childhood memories living on the creeks and mud banks of the local rivers and creeks and the beautiful beaches of Florida's emerald coast. She is inspired by her appreciation of wildlife all around her.
There are stunning landscapes of creeks, springs, swamps, woods, beaches, seasides, lighthouses, and homeplaces. She also does portraits and gardens of flowers.
Ellen's artwork is primarily oil on canvas but she also uses other mediums.
